2010 This project refers to an Arduino sketch which with the help of a VRBot system can recognize voice commands, making it possible to run applications.
For example, we could  cause the execution of the relevant browser with the voice command «Firefox».
Also included in this project is a Python script that implements a background service (Daemon) which communicates with the Arduino and initiates the execution of various applications .

2010 This project refers to an Arduino sketch which, with the help of an RGB LED and a VRBot system, can implement a mood lighting system controlled by voice commands.
There are voice commands to activate / deactivate the red, green and blue.
The color changes are performed with fade effects.

2010 This project refers to an Arduino sketch which

– with the help of a system VRBot, a basic keyboard, an RFID reader and a piezo speaker – can implement a Security Access Control with Multi-Factor Authentication.
The system comprises a security level associated with typing a password (something I know), a security level associated with the use of an RFID tag (something I have) and a security level associated with the recognition of a voice message password (something I am).

a household lamp, a car alarm, a home air conditio ner etc.) with voice commands.
The system VRBot is properly trained with voice messages and then performs voice recognition .
More specifically, .

The Arduino detects acoustic sounds and tries to recognize them through the system VRBot

Finally, if acceptable voice messages are identified, .

The Arduino manages them for the use of the device driven with the help of the relay

Implementation of an algorithm for creating a syntax tree.

— Leave a comment March 31

2011 The following program creates the syntax tree of a mathematical expression in prefix notation.
For simplicity, we assume that the terms of the expression are individual characters (digits).
Each time the recursive function parse() is called, a new node is created, whose value is the next character of the expression.
If the value is a term (digit), we return the new node.
However, if it is an operator, we set the left and right pointers to point the tree made (recursively) for the two operands.

— 4 Comments To calculate a prefix expression

we either convert a number from ASCII to decimal (in the loop ‘while’ at the end of the program) or implement the operation indicated by the first character of the expressions to the two terms, with a recursive calculation.
This function is recursive, but it uses a global array containing the expression and an index number for the current character of the expression.
The index number goes beyond each sub-expression calculated.

Filed under: , — 2 Comments The elegant recursive solution to a problem is most of the times invaluable.
Although the iterative solution of that problem is likely to have a better space and time complexity, it is often preferred to use the recursive version for clarity and simplicity.
It is remarkable how easily a problem can be solved by use of a recursive manner.
In this article we will try to record a collection of useful recursive functions: Continue reading Tags: , , factorial, greatest common divisor, hanoi, , , Read More & Comment.
